Safe pregnancy information should be accessible to everyone, regardless of language, culture, or background. Stillbirth risk is higher for many migrant and refugee communities, often due to barriers such as language, health literacy, and access to culturally appropriate care.
Still Aware’s CALD resources were led by a CALD professional, ensuring the work was community informed, culturally respectful, and grounded in lived experience. This approach helps ensure funding is used with integrity and purpose, directed towards resources that genuinely meet the needs of the communities they are intended to serve.
Developed in consultation with community members and health professionals, these resources aim to empower families to understand warning signs, ask questions, and advocate for safer care throughout pregnancy.
