What You Will Do

As a volunteer or intern with Still Aware, you will support initiatives that advance stillbirth prevention, community education, and awareness. From events and fundraising to outreach and organisational support, there are meaningful opportunities to contribute based on your interests and skills.

  1. Event Support

    Assist with planning and delivering community events, expos, and awareness campaigns. Support event logistics, coordination, setup, and engagement activities that help us reach families across Australia.

  2. Community Outreach

    Engage with community groups, health services, and partner organisations to expand awareness of safe pregnancy practices and Still Aware resources.

  3. Administrative Support

    Contribute to the smooth running of the organisation through administrative tasks, data entry, documentation, coordination, and general office support.

  4. Fundraising Support

    Support fundraising campaigns, community initiatives, and donor engagement activities that help sustain our prevention programs and educational resources.

  5. Skills-Based Projects

    Apply your professional expertise in areas such as marketing, communications, design, research, strategy, finance, or project management to strengthen organisational capacity.

  6. Research and Content Development

    Assist with drafting research summaries, blog articles, educational materials, and awareness content to help communicate vital prevention messages to families and clinicians.

Structured Placement

Our internship program is designed to provide a structured and purposeful learning experience. Interns work on defined projects aligned with organisational priorities, gaining hands-on experience in areas such as research, communications, community engagement, operations, or strategy. Placements are typically aligned with university requirements and include clear objectives, supervision, and measurable outcomes to support professional development while contributing meaningfully to Still Aware’s mission.
